Windermere Hotels

Lake Windermere is England’s largest lake, and although there is also a village which bears the same name, the Windermere region is much larger, stretching from Ambleside in the north, through the bustling town of Bowness-on-Windermere, down to Newby Bridge in the south. Being in the South Lakes, Windermere is relatively close to major cities of north west England, and many Lake District hotels are located here. The Windermere hotels we have featured are located along or close to the east shore of Lake Windermere, including hotels in Windermere village and hotels in Bowness.
